This covers for theft and hi-jacking as well as for liability for injury to other people and damage to their property as a result of an accident. This type of cover does not provide for accidental damage to your own car.
Third party only car insurance

Third party insurance will cover for liability for injury to other people or damage to their property as a result of an accident.
